Meet the Panelists
Dr. Lauren Josephs is a distinguished Social/Behavioral Scientist and CEO of Visionary Vanguard Group, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in eliminating disparities through research, evaluation, and training. With over two decades of experience, she has led numerous health and social services initiatives, focusing on underserved communities. A licensed psychotherapist and Nationally Certified Counselor, Dr. Josephs holds a PhD in Public Affairs from the University of Central Florida. Her work has earned her multiple awards, including the Outstanding Alumni Award from UCF's Doctoral Program in Public Affairs, and recognition as one of Orlando Magazine's 2024 Women of the Year. She actively contributes to various boards, championing health equity and culturally responsive service provision.
Dr. Caroline Muster is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Since graduating with honors from Texas State University, Caroline has worked in community mental health, medical social work, psychotherapy, forensic social work, and higher education. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. Caroline is also an adjunct professor for USF and has several academic publications. A highly experienced clinician, Caroline has practiced in behavioral health for more than 10 years and is now providing psychotherapy to patients seen in AdventHealth for Children’s pediatric psychiatry practice.
Lisseth Russa, RMHCI, CNP, has a passion for helping people, motivating her to enter the human services field over 15 years ago. She began her career at a regional Boys and Girls Club in New Jersey, where she mastered nonprofit management fundamentals and took on various leadership roles. After several years, she became a registered mental health therapist, but soon realized she could help more people in a management role. Ms. Russa then served as Clinical Services Director for Behavioral Support Services, Inc. in Orlando, Florida, managing over 70 targeted case managers and ensuring compliance with regulations. In 2022, she became the Vice President of Operations for the Mental Health Association of Central Florida and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for MHP Salud.
